Frequently Asked Questions to prepare for your Florida vacation

Q- After I book a reservation, when do you communicate with me how to access my vacation rental?

A- 48-72 hours prior to arrival, an upcoming visit email will be sent showing a property map, exact address of your vacation rental, a list of our favorite

things to do and see in the area and more!  The day of arrival and prior to 4PM, once your vacation rental is ready for your arrival a SMS (mobile text)

will be sent to the number on file with your private door entry code.

Q- Are there any additional fees above and beyond the rental rate?

A- The quote includes all applicable charges.  A security/damage hold via credit card will be secured 2 days prior to arrival and if no damages or missing

items are found, the hold will be released within 7 days of your departure pending inspection of the property.

Q- I received an email about another security hold on my credit card - why?

A- Credit card processors allow for a security "hold" for a 7 day window and then automatically release such hold, our system is programmed to reauthorize

the security hold each 7 days until the reservation departs.

Q- Can I pay by Check?

A- Yes, we will waive the merchant fee, if the final remaining balance is paid via check 45 days in advance or arrival.  We do not issue credits to credit cards

for the initial deposit.

Q- Where are the nearest beaches?

A- Within minutes of your vacation rental property in the Indian Shores area. If staying at 19725 or 19727 Gulf Blvd., the closest 1-4 minute walk is 198th

Avenue just North of the Sea Club Community and The Intercoastal Community. If staying at Holiday Villas III - this complex is on the beach - you are almost there!  If staying in Seminole, Florida - the beach is a 5-7 minute drive.

Q- Are linens, cookware, dishes, etc. provided with the rental property?

A- Yes. Everything you'll need is available at your home-away-from-home.

Q- Is toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soaps provided with the rental property?

A- We provide a "starter kit" that includes toilet paper, paper towels, liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo and soaps.  The starter kit is enough for a night or two.  Because our vacation rentals are setup similar to a home and/or apartment - we recommend grocery shopping for stays longer than 2 nights for additional necessities.

Q- Are additional housekeeping services provided with the rental property?

A- If you would like to add on a mid-stay cleaning (if staying longer than 7 nights), please let us know - additional fees will apply and 48 hours advance notice is required.

Q- What is there to do in the local area?

A- You'll find a vast array of things to do in the Indian Shores area. From outdoor activities, including swimming, fishing, kayaking, shelling to parks

and attractions. We also provide exceptional choices for dining, shopping and entertainment on our website.

Q- What time is check-in and check-out?

A- Check-in is 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. However, special arrangements can be made upon request and if availability permits.

Q- How much are taxes for the rental property?

A- Florida State Sales Tax and Pinellas Tourism Taxes total 13%.

Q- What day do reservations usually begin and end?

A- Our reservation arrival days and departure days are flexible, as long as the minimum length of stay is met. We do try to have 1 full day of rest between

rental guests.

Q- How much is needed to secure a reservation TODAY?

A - A deposit is required to secure the vacation rental and fluctuates based on season and location - typically between 10% up to 30%.

Q- Is the host available to answer any question 24/7?

A - You are renting a vacation rental property which is self-service, much like you are at your own home, your host is available to answer questions during normal business hours.  Your host does not deliver extra amenities during your stay, should maintenance services be needed during your visit, your host will make every attempt to schedule an appointment within a timeframe that is acceptable for your vacation plans.

Q- Can I forward my mail to the vacation rental unit?

A - Do not auto forward your mail to the vacation rental address as the property manager does not have access to the vacation rental mailboxes. If

you are staying longer then 25 nights and plan on having your mail forwarded, please apply for a post office box - 204 4TH AVE. INDIAN ROCKS BEACHFL 33785-9998, apply online:  USPS PO Box Application Link.
